YSMU is No.1 in world class facilities and has brilliant faculty. Everyone here is friendly and very helpful in nature. It is a safe environment, and the students are provided the freedom to celebrate their beliefs, while treating each other with respect as members of the same family. Indian festivals like Diwali and Holi are always a grand celebration here, with participation of both university and Indian Embassy staff. Locals are extremely friendly, with great respect for Indian culture and traditions and love for Bollywood and Indian soap operas (which are very popular). All of the faculty and staff are really pleasant and they get to know you on a personal level. The University has a great reputation nationally and internationally, which opens all sorts of doors. YSMU provides me with an at-home environment while studying abroad and I am very grateful for that. I am very proud to be a part of the YSMU family.
